Well, another month has gone by here at the T-Shirt Review Blog! February was a great month, with a bunch of really remarkable shirts. I’m looking to add some new features in March as well, so stay tuned. Most of all, thanks for reading!

Tell me about cool tees!
While I love going t-shirt hunting for you, if you come across a shirt in your travels, send me an email about it. If you’re a designer or t-shirt company that would like to see your shirts featured, let me know! I’d be happy to take a look at what you’ve got brewing.

Blackbirds Attackin’ in the Dead ‘O’ Night (Design By Humans, Review)

This was far and away this month’s most popular shirt here. It would be silly for anything other than this tee to end up featured here. My hat’s off to DBH for another knockout.
I’m a big Pink Floyd fan, so I might be a little biased here. This album’s an absolute CLASSIC though. People that don’t even listen to Floyd have this album. People that haven’t even heard the album still wear the album cover. I have a tee with the logo in its original orientation, but this shirt sort of took things in another direction with a track listing and album credits. It’s a pretty cool take on a very timeless design by Storm Thorgerson.
Dark Side of the Moon is $19.95 from Waterloo.
It’s hard to pull off a collage. Alright, maybe it’s not hard for you, but I couldn’t do it. Blending several elements into a cohesive design can be difficult enough as it is. Try pulling those elements from seemingly unrelated sources now, and throw in a splash of color.
I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve got no idea what the designer was trying to convey with this shirt. Maybe though, that’s the point. The shirt is called “Imagine” after all. Maybe we’re each supposed to take away what we want to see in it. The part of me that’s a slave to logic tries to weave a thread through all the images, but I always come up empty handed, and maybe that’s a good thing.
Imagine is $19 from Design By Humans.
EDIT: I actually wrote this post last week, but I saw the other day that Imagine won shirt of the week and was featured just the other day. Check it out while it’s still around.
Just a heads up, all shirts are on sale for just $12 at Busted Tees. Today only.

I should open by saying this is certainly a must-see film for any cinema or pop culture aficionado. Hands down. I think I recall seeing a shirt here or there with the film’s logo before, but never anything like this.
Waterloo took things a step further by actually putting silhouettes of the droogs on the tee with the opening monologue from the film. I think this is a really well done shirt. You can get it in a few different color schemes. Seriously though, why get anything but orange?
Waterloo has a pretty sweet collection of classic rock and pop culture tees, running the gamut from The Clash to The Beatles. They’re also one of the few shirt companies I’ve found that have something substantially different to offer both the ladies and the gents. The male version of this shirt is more of a classic t-shirt cut.
Their gallery is also a real pleasure to browse though, and they’ve got a few different photos of each shirt. Definitely a well-done website.
A Clockwork Orange is $24.95 from Waterloo.
Here’s something I found in my inbox last week, thanks for the submission!
Normally I’m not a big fan of places that put their logo on the shirt, but Sketch 86 does it in a way that makes it fit, it looks like part of the design. This shirt has a concert tee sort of feel to it. I would half-expect to see a list of tour dates on the back if I saw this shirt on the street. I’m definitely digging the wrap-around design.
Sketch 86 doesn’t have a huge selection of tees, but the ones they do have can definitely appeal to a niché crowd. They’re running a promotion right now, free shipping on 3 or more shirts.
Skulls, Skulls and more Skulls is available for $18.95 from Sketch 86.
Hey everyone, just wanted to give you a heads-up here. There are a bunch of new links to t-shirt companies and stuff in the sidebar today. Quite a few of them are tee shops that I’ve come across in the last few days but haven’t had a chance to write about just yet. Check ‘em out!
