As Within So Without

As Within (female)

I’ve got to admit I’ve got no idea what it means. I think it’s a pretty striking shirt though. By altering the size of the text and overlapping it in the background, you get a pretty dynamic tee considering it’s a text-only design.

As Within (male)

It’s available in both male and female versions, and I like that they’re different. Too many times the female version of a shirt is just the same print on a baby-doll cut. Hats off to Wunjo for this one. They’ve got a number of pretty cool designs, I recommend checking them out.

As Within So Without (male, female) is $20 at Wunjo.

“As within, so without” is the Hermetic principle of Correspondence. This law tells us that things which appear to be very different have attributes that are actually quite similar. It also tells us that by studying one thing we can learn about something else. That, for example, is exactly what statistical samples are all about. By examining a small portion of a population, a determination can be made as to what those same attributes are for the entire population.

Very interesting! I’m certainly familiar with the concept, but I guess I haven’t heard this phrase used to describe it before.

    You learn something everyday :-)
    Thanks Jacki!
