I’ve always loved Happy Gilmore, so here’s a shirt I found through TShirtReview.com (not to be confused with this site). Chris has featured some pretty sweet tees in the past there, check him out.

A recent trip to the Mall yielded this Metallica tee from Hot Topic for $15. I’ve been a Metallica fan for years, and it’s refreshing to see a tee that’s a little lighter than the Pushead-style skulls and whatnot. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got my fair-share of classic Metallica tees, but this is a pleasant change of pace.

Whiskey in the Jar is of course a Thin Lizzy cover Metallica did in the late 90’s with their Garage, Inc. album. I believe it was an old Irish drinking song to begin with. Anyways, I think it does well for a one-color, almost text-based design. I wore it to a Hurt concert the night this photo was taken, and I’m actually wearing it as I write this. It’s a very comfortable tee, and it’ll be making my regular rotation.

As if I haven’t featured enough brown tees in the past, here’s another one that caught my eye. The innuendo is so thick here you could cut it with…well, a knife. That’s really the only bit of tableware not mentioned here, I should add.

There are male and female versions of this tee, and then a women’s wifebeater/tanktop/a-shirt version for about half the price. For the record, it appears that only the men’s version of the tee is brown, as the women’s tee is a snappy sort of greenish.

Don at tshirtbordello.com sent me this sweet shirt not too long ago, and Meg tossed it on and started taking photos. I’ve always been a big AC/DC fan, so I got a laugh out of this shirt. Sadly I don’t know the backstory because I don’t watch Entourage, but apparently a character on that HBO show has worn this tee. Either way, it’s a great double-take shirt. The material is soft and the print is top-notch.

Here’s a pretty cute tee I found in the women’s section of Brown Turtle. I’ve heard the phrase before, but never on a t-shirt. It’s cut for a woman, which frankly shouldn’t be a problem..I can’t see a guy wearing it anyways.

Olive You is $15 from Brown Turtle.

This isn’t new this week, but it’s being reprinted and has apparently been out of stock for a while. I liked the silhouettes and the perspective that you’re behind the clock face with the people enjoying the view outside. I wasn’t really able to make out much in the way of details as far as the scenery is concerned, but I suppose that’s where your imagination is supposed to take over. It’s a pretty cool shirt however, and sort of makes you think. I like that.

Time Fades is $15 at Threadless.

 It’s a bit late for a Valentine’s Day shirt, I know, but I came across this one and couldn’t help but be amused. Cupid apparently has traded in his bow and arrow for a more modern weapon. Complete with scope, Cupid can now propel the love bug at an astounding 2200 feet per second. Beats the hell out of the old longbow, eh?

Here’s a shirt for the cynic in you. You didn’t have to read the Mitchell Report to know that steroids and baseball have been linked at the hip for years now. It seems like you can’t even compete nowadays without being juiced. Nevermind that though, I’ve got a shirt for you. A clear parody of the Yankees logo, this tee got a chuckle out of me and will show anyone what you think of baseball these days.

As with most of the shirts at Roadkill, it’s available in dozens of colors and styles. While variety is cool, it’d be nice to have an actual image of the shirt, rather than the faux graphics you see above layered over a photo of a blank shirt. The regular white tee flavor is available in sizes up to 5XL, so even those of you with curiously oversized biceps can wear it ;-).
